Designing a swimming pool is a fantastic process, as designing something that brings as much pleasure as a swimming pool is a pleasure in itself. Most people start with a design in their mind, so our job tends to be to make that dream a reality and to make the final result even better than expected.
Swimming pool design isn’t just about how a swimming pool looks (how big it is, how deep it is, what shape it is, where it is sited, the colour of the liner or tiles, the type of cover etc.), it’s also about how the less visible elements, such as the materials used, how it is insulated and heated, what sanitisation / chlorination system it runs on, what the control panel does, etc.
Pool design involves making a series of decisions, with cost always front of mind. During the design process we take time to ensure our customers thoroughly understand all the options available, to enable them to make the best possible choices.
At the design stage, there are nearly always some nice surprises, as we suggest ideas that hadn’t been thought of or that the customer was unaware of. Equally, some things that may have appeared to be out of the budget may either have dropped in price or an equivalent but cheaper option may now be available.
