Above Ground Pools

Above ground pools are great if you are on a tight budget, a sloping site or simply like the look of an above ground swimming pool.

There are many different types of above ground swimming pools, ranging from small and very inexpensive metal framed pools that you can even pick up in places like Costco, to some absolutely beautiful pools, including timber framed pools and steel framed pools.

We offer very good quality and highly attractive timber framed pools from companies like Picenelle, Sunsoaker, and Certikin, and steel framed pools from leading manufacturers like Endless Pool, Certikin, Plastica, and Astral. The timber is usually from special Norwegian hardwoods that are treated to last a lifetime above or in ground and, as timber is a natural insulator, in addition to looking fabulous, they also help with heat preservation.

Each of these pools uses proper pool filtration for pure water and ease of cleaning. They are compatible with air source heat pumps for economical heating and ongoing maintenance free operation, as well as LED lighting and we can even fit the Endless Pool Fastlane swimming machine into them, so you can swim forever in anything from a gentle eddy to a raging torrent! They will all last a lifetime.

The best thing is that in addition to all these benefits, great looks and a long warranty, pools like these are extremely good value and much cheaper than an in ground swimming pool. Prices start at a very affordable £5-6,000 and a top pool with the Fastlane can cost less than £10k when delivered for self assembly.

Although the majority of above ground pools we install are outdoor, we have built plenty in log cabins, which can look great. As above ground pools avoid some of the technical issues of an in ground pool, we are very happy to either just deliver or deliver and supervise the installation of an above ground pool if you would like to use another contractor on the project. Above ground pools tend to be small or medium size, although there are a number of bigger options.
