Take a look at our easy to read answers to some of the most common misconceptions about designing, building or managing your own swimming pool.
If you have an outdoor swimming pool with a bubble safety cover, you need a winter pool cover to help you stop any leaves and debris getting into the swimming pool while it is not being used during the cold winter months.
The typical cost for a winter pool cover is around £1,400 – £1,750 for a 30’ pool. However, we are able to offer an impressive 50% discount on certain winter covers, if you order by the end of December 2023! See below for examples:
Delivery anywhere in the UK is £30 (a saving of 30% on standard delivery charges). Turn around time from point of order is approximately 10 days.
Offer available until 31st December 2023. Please note that we have a shut down period over Christmas from 22nd December 2023 to 4th January 2024.
Technically speaking, winter covers are not designed as pool safety covers. However, because of the way they are constructed, their strength and the way they are mounted means that they do in effect act as a form of safety cover whilst they are in place during the winter. Of course, it is important to note that this is only true when they have been properly installed by a professional team. With this in mind, it makes sense to use our specialist team of pool cover installers to make sure that everything is in place to keep your pool safe and protected.
Whilst the installation process is not complicated, as it is only designed to be used twice a year, putting a winter cover on and taking it off your pool is not a 5 minute job. Equally, the winter cover is only half the job, as when you put it on you need to take the bubble cover off to store for the winter and taking the winter cover off means reinstalling the bubble cover. This is a standard part of our pool opening and pool closing services, which most people are glad about!
Winter pool covers are very durable and long lasting, provided they are handled and stored correctly.
