hth Spa Active Oxygen Tablets are a direct replacement for
Fi-Clor Active Oxygen tablets.
What do hth Spa Active Oxygen tablets do?
The hth Spa Active Oxygen system leaves your hot tub water sparkling clear. The system comprises of a 20g active oxygen tablet and a liquid activator. It provides a more gentle alternative to chlorine or bromine sanitisers. It is also odourless and easy to use, as well as being kind to both the eyes and skin.

There are some important steps to take before converting an existing spa to hth Spa Active Oxygen. The same applies when setting up a new spa. Firstly, always check the procedure outlined in the leaflet provided. It is also important to maintain pH levels within the range of 7.2-7.6 at all times.
How do they work?
Initial dose:
As part of the initial treatment process, simply add four hth Spa Active Oxygen Tablets. You can do this via a floating dispenser or directly into the filter area of your hot tub. You should also add 30ml hth Spa Bright Water Activator Liquid per 1,000 litres of water.
Ongoing treatment:
- Before bathing just add one tablet per 1,000 litres of spa water into the filter area of your hot tub.
- Once a week add 30ml hth Spa Bright Water Activator Liquid per 1,000 litres of spa water, and 2 tablets.
- Test the Active Oxygen levels with Aquachek Active Oxygen Test Strips for Monopersulfate, Alkalinity & pH test strips. Ensure the MPS reading indicates OK to high (5-10mg/l).
- Midway through the week add another 2 tablets to the filter area of the spa.
- For best results, a weekly application of Aquasparkle Spa Fusion Oxidiser spa sachet is essential to eliminate non-filterable spa contaminants.
